A scribe works one-on-one with a medical provider, capturing all patient encounters and documenting them into the appropriate EMR.
Community Health Network guidelines require proof of a sophomore standing or higher from an established college. It is preferred that all scribes are currently enrolled in or recently completed college with a pre-medical degree.
Training will be completed both virtually and in-person. Each training is tailored specifically and ranges from 4-6 weeks before scribing independently.

CISS has partnered with Medical Associates, LLP at Community Health Network. You will have the opportunity to work with physicians, as well as become acquainted with other scribes working in the department.
